1.1 Brief Biography
Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah was born in 1952 in Qatar. In 1976 he achieved a BA in History from the University of Alexandria, Egypt.
He started his career with the Ministry of Finance & Petroleum, State of Qatar in 1972 and moved on to be Head of International & Public Relations, Ministry of Finance & Petroleum between 1973 and 1986.
Between 1986 and 1989 he was Office Director, Minister of Finance & Petroleum, then from 1989 until 1992 he was Office Director, Minister of Interior and Acting Minister of Finance & Petroleum.
He has been the Minister of Energy & Industry since S0065ptember 1992 and the Second Deputy Premier since September 2003.

2. H.E. Yousef Hussain Kamal

2.1 Brief Biography
Yousef Hussain Kamal was born in 1948 in Qatar. In 1973 he achieved a bachelor in Business Administration from Cairo University, Egypt. He also completed non-degree courses at the International Monetary Fund and a number of American universities.
He was the Assistant Deputy Director of Public Finance at the Ministry of Finance, Economy and Commerce, before becoming the Deputy Director of Public Finance, and then the General Director of Public Finance.
He was subsequently appointed Deputy Minister of Finance, Economy and Commerce and, in 1998, Minister of Finance. He is also the acting Minister of Economy and Commerce.

3. Mr. Abdullah Hussain Salatt

3.1 Brief Biography
Mr. Salatt was born in 1942 in the State of Qatar. He holds a B.Sc. in Geology from Lamar State University, Beaumont, Texas, U.S.A. After graduating, he joined the Department of Petroleum Affairs, Ministry of Finance & Petroleum, as a geologist.
He progressed in the Ministry until he was appointed Director of the Department of Petroleum Affairs. In 1989, he became Undersecretary, Ministry of Communications & Transportation.
He held that position until late 1996, after which he was appointed to his present post of Senior advisor to the Deputy Premier, Minister of Energy & Industry.

4. Dr. Ibrahim Al-Ibrahim
Member, Board of Directors, Industries Qatar¤ Dr. Ibrahim B. Ibrahim joined Qatar Government in August 1988 as Economic Expert and advisor to The Heir Apparent, and is currently an Economic Advisor to His Highness Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani.

Dr. Ibrahim was an Associate Professor of Business and Economics and quantitative methods at the University of Hawaii, Honolulu, U.S.A. (1970-1978); Director of the Economic Department at the organization of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries, Kuwait (1979-1986); and a Senior Economist at Oxford Institute for Energy Studies, Oxford (1986-1988).
Dr. Ibrahim holds a PhD in Business Administration from New York University (1969) and has numerous publications in the areas of forecasting, Business Economics, and Energy Economics.

5. Mr. Faisal Mohammed Al-Suwaidi

5.1 Brief Biography
Joined Qatar Petroleum (QP) as a Trainee clerk in October 1972. After one and half years of training in Dukhan, he was sponsored by QP for further studies in the UK. In 1974, Mr. Al-Suwaidi joined Merton Technical College at Wimbledon and obtained his Diploma in Business Management in 1978.
From 1978 to 1989 he held various Positions with QP's Administration function leading to his appointment as an Administration Manager in 1989.
In 1992, he was appointed Managing Director of QAFCO. In 1997 he became the Vice Chairman and CEO of Qatargas. Currently he holds the position of Vice Chairman of Qatargas 1, 2, 3, 4 and Laffan Refinery Project as well as Chairman and CEO of Qatargas operating Company.

Holder of Bachelor's Degree in Applied Engineering Science, (General Science) Portland State University ,USA .
Joined the National Oil Distribution Company (NODCO) as Trainee Engineer in 1981.Soon after he was promoted to Shift Supervisor (operations department), then to process engineer. His next promotion was to the post of Engineer in charge of export/import and distribution facilities, and soon after to Head of Export & Oil Movement . He concluded his career in NODCO as Acting Operation Manager, Head of Refinery no. 2.

Mr. Al-Mohannadi was born in 1956 in Qatar. He completed a bachelor degree in 1980 in Mechanical Engineering, from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University.
In 1981 he joined the Ministry of Electricity & Water as a mechanical engineer. He was promoted to the position of Maintenance Manager in 1985 and then Station Manager in 1987.
In 1992 he moved to Qatar Electricity & Water Company as a technical manager. He was then appointed the General Manager in 1999, a post he continues to hold.
