1.1 Brief Biography
Mr. Al-Sherawi was born in Qatar. He graduated in 1987 from the University of Kent, United Kingdom with an MA in Management (Financial Analysis).
He joined Qatar General Petroleum Corporation (later called “Qatar Petroleum”) in 1982 after successfully completing numerous development programs within a variety of major international oil companies. He progressively held key positions, culminating in his appointment as Finance Manager of QGPC Offshore in 1990.
In 1992, when the two operations of Onshore and Offshore were merged, he continued with increased responsibility as Finance Manager of Oil and Gas Operations. Following the establishment of the Ministry of Energy & Industry and the unification of QGPC, he became Manager, Financial Accounting, a position he held up until he was appointed as Finance Director in 1996.

2. Sheikh Nasser Bin Hamad Al-Thani

2.1 Brief Biography
Sh. Nasser was born in Qatar. He graduated in 1987 from the University of Colorado, USA with a Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Fluid Dynamics and Heat Transfer).
He joined Qatar General Petroleum Corporation in 1987 as a Project Engineer involved in the first gas development of the North Field during Engineering, Construction and start-up. In April 1992 he held the position of senior Rotating Equipment Engineer at Qatar Liquefied gas Company Ltd. (Qatargas) and responsible for project work related to Train 1&2, based in Houston, Texas. In 1993 he progressively held the position of Project Coordination Manager (Field) of the project for Train 1&2 and in 1994 to be a Project Manager (Train 3). In 1995 was appointed as a Manager Technical- responsible for all Engineering works in Qatargas. Since 2000 till to date he is director & General Manager of Qatar Steel Company.

3. Mr. Khalifa Abdullah Al-Suwaidi

3.1 Brief Biography
Mr. Khalifa Al-Suwaidi is a Qatari national born in 1958. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering from Arizona State University, United States of America.
After graduating in 1984, Mr. Al-Suwaidi joined QAFCO in March 1985 as a Chemical Engineer. After 4 years, he was promoted to Ammonia 1 Plant Engineer and, 2 years later, was appointed as Head of Section, Ammonia 1 Plant.
By 1992, he had become the Deputy Production Manager. 1 year later, he was appointed as QAFCO III Coordination Manager. He took over the QAFCO III Commissioning Manager position in 1996. In September 1997 he was appointed Production Manager. In December 1997, he was elevated to his present position of Managing Director.
