The current results indicate that revenue has significantly increased by 19.6%, to QR8.5 billion compared to QR7.1 billion in Q3, 2009. Net profit and EPS for the year to date were QR4.1 billion and QR7.37, respectively, an increase of 6.0% on the corresponding period last year. Excluding the QR1.2 billion proceeds from claim against the Government received by the steel subsidiary in 2009 yields a more accurate comparison of the group’s profitability improvement, as the year-on-year growth becomes a remarkable 52.6%.
